In the West Midlands this will run between Birmingham and Coventry. Two alternative routes are planned between Birmingham and Solihull with them coming together just north of Catherine-de-Barnes. Parts of this section of the route are available for use between Catherine-de-Barnes and Birmingham International Airport.
